Felix Navarro Rodriguez

Sentenced to 25 years in Matanzas.

Felix Navarro Rodrigues is a member of the Democratic Solidarity Party in the province of Matanzas. He is also a reporter for the Bureau of Independent Press and the President of the Pedro Luis Boitel Pro Democracy Movement. He signed in March 2000 the "All United" manifesto, which asked for changes in Cuban society and demanded the release of all political prisoners. In 2001, he was fired from his job as a high school principal in the city of Perico after being arrested for "spreading enemy propaganda."
